The artist behind i4arts · Monica Borzu
I grew up in Romania, where I learned to look slowly—at light, gesture, texture and the stories carried in a face. That European tradition of observation and craftsmanship still guides every work I make from my Sacramento studio.
Every commission is personal. I work closely with each client to understand the memory behind the painting—whether it is a family bond, a beloved companion, a moment of joy or someone deeply missed.

From enquiry to artwork
You do not need to know art terminology or have the perfect photograph. Monica will guide the choices with you.
Tell Monica who or what the painting is for, your preferred timing, and what you want the finished work to feel like.
Together you choose the photographs, composition and scale. Monica confirms the price, timing and delivery plan before any work begins.
A 40% deposit reserves your place. Monica builds the work through drawing, tone and layered colour, sharing progress along the way.
After your approval, the portrait is carefully finished and prepared for studio collection or insured delivery to your home.
